Poseidon Equine Services, based in Westbury, Wiltshire, were created to be a trustworthy horse dealership that puts horses at the forefront of everything that we do. Charlotte has a background in sales and customer service and knows how to take away all the bad things about horse dealers, so you’re only left with the good. She has experiences in all aspects of working with horses, including competing and working for professionals. She has contacts throughout the equestrian world, so understands everything there is to know about it. No matter what you need from us, we are sure we can provide for you and your horse.
Our team at Poseidon Equine Services prioritise horse welfare and we pride ourselves in making sure we find the right person for the horse or pony. If you are interested in any of the horses or ponies advertised on our site, please contact us and we will arrange the opportunity for you to meet the horse or pony both in the saddle and on the ground.
Our team is highly experienced and can deal with all things equine. If you have a sales livery with us, you can guarantee your horse or pony will be looked after to the best of our abilities, with hay, feed and bedding all included in the cost of your livery; livery is priced according to the size of your horse or pony. Our staff will then school, lunge and train your horse, using our carefully-maintained facilities; we can also, if arranged with the livery and at an additional cost, take your horse out for extra training or to shows. We will also take them out on hacks. Everything we do is to make sure they are trained and ready for sale.
HORSES/PONIES FOR SALE
We have a number of horses and ponies for sale all year round, which are trained for a variety of disciplines and suitable for any sort or age of rider. We believe there is enough variety on our website to find the right horse or pony for you, but do not hesitate to contact us for advice if you are uncertain or if there is a specific type of horse or pony you want but we do not have; we may not yet have it advertised or we might be able to contact someone who can help. We have years of experience and want to match the perfect horse or pony with the perfect rider, especially as equine welfare is at the heart of everything we do.
If a prospective buyer likes a horse/pony, we ask them to make a deposit that stands for a week, which is plenty of time to arrange a vetting. If the horse/pony passes the vetting, we give them another week to arrange to take the horse/pony away. Although we always work hard to ensure horse/pony and rider are the perfect fit, things don’t always work perfectly, so we also offer buyers a further seven days to return the horse/pony, but we impose a 10% returns fee in these circumstances.
