Eili is being sold as a broodmare. After being out of work since last November we bought her in March. We have worked hard and gone back to basics but she doesn’t seem happy when being ridden. We’ve checked all the usual, back, teeth, tack, ulcers etc. Her party trick is to throw her bum up and twist so you lose balance and fall, or she rears. A few riders have managed to sit this and ride her through and after her tantrum she goes beautifully. But I can’t risk selling her on as a ridden pony in case someone gets injured.
When she arrived she was very shy and didn’t like being caught, but she now comes in and is a lot more confident around people. She’s easy to handle and very sweet.
She is from a registered and reputable stud and her siblings are all competing and doing well Her sire is Rusheen Boy and she out of Golden Buttercup.
